Mark Milligan, PT, DPT, and Patrick Myers, PT, DPT will be discussing current best practices for telehealth and how to conduct initial evaluations and treatment of patients via telehealth. This webinar is intended for therapists and therapy assistants who want to gain further experience providing digital physical therapy services. The topics to be covered will be current best evidence, communication, best technology practices, patient engagement, fostering desired outcomes, evaluation and treatment.

About The Speaker(s)

Dr. Mark Milligan, PT, DPT, is a board certified, fellowship trained, orthopedic manual therapist who specializes in the intelligent prevention and treatment of all human conditions. He is a passionate change-agent, founding Revolution Human Physical Therapy and Education, a mobile physical therapy and micro-education company based in Austin, Texas. With the vision to end the physical barrier to access healthcare, he created Anywhere Healthcare, an all-inclusive telehealth platform in 2017. With great interest and expertise in digital care delivery, population health, and governmental affairs, he is an active member of the APTA, AAOMPT, the TPTA, and he educates and engages on those topics internationally.

Dr. Patrick Myers PT, DPT, MS, OCS, is a 2001 graduate of the University of Kentucky’s graduate program in physical therapy. He received a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Louisville in 1996. In 2006, he earned his Orthopedic Specialist Certification (OCS). He was awarded both a certification in Executive Private Practice Management and his doctorate degree in physical therapy from EIM Educational Institute. He was the founder and owner of Apex Physical Therapy in Louisville and a former owner in ProRehab Louisville. Currently, he is the founder of Convi Physical Therapy, an orthopedic practice utilizing technology and telehealth to deliver care. He practices primarily in orthopedics and has a special interest in physical therapy technology, refined healthcare delivery and serving patients in this new normal.
