Join the APTA Wisconsin West Central District for this valuable CE offering presented by APTA Wisconsin Vice President, Jim Cumming, PT, MPT.

Objectives:

1. Understand the basic rules and regulations that govern telehealth in rehabilitation

2. Learn strategies for a successful virtual visit

3. Learn ideas for how to integrate telehealth into your practice, including hybrid models

4. Learn other tips and tricks for telehealth from colleagues through a discussion/ brainstorming during the session

About The Speaker(s)

James (Jim) Cumming is an advanced clinician physical therapist for the UW Health system based out of Madison, WI. He works in an outpatient setting, working with a variety of patients with general orthopedic conditions, with specialization in neck pain, headaches, and concussion. He also specializes in treating patients with complaints of dizziness and imbalance, and has completed competency based training in vestibular rehabilitation, including cervicogenic dizziness. Jim has been a proponent of telehealth visits through his work with APTA Wisconsin, and has had experience delivering PT virtually throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. His other clinical interests include training PT students and mentoring colleagues, electronic documentation and developing programs for novel physical therapy practice settings, including urgent care and primary care. He is also the Vice President of APTA Wisconsin, and is a delegate in the House of Delegates of the American Physical Therapy Association.
