Emily Ziegler, SPT, is a 3rd year Doctor of Physical Therapy Student at Bellin College in Green Bay, WI, graduating in May 2025. With a strong foundation in healthcare, Emily has extensive experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) across long-term care, memory care, home health, and behavioral health settings. Previously serving as a Human Anatomy and Physiology Teaching Assistant at Bellin College, Emily has also held leadership roles within the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) WI Student Special Interest Group (SSIG), including Chair and Student Council Representative. Actively involved in community health, Emily has led teams for the Alzheimer’s and Arthritis Walks of Green Bay, spent time at the NEW community clinic providing pro bono services, and volunteered at Exceptional Equestrians, supporting hippotherapy and adaptive riding. Emily is committed to advancing patient care with clinical experiences in outpatient orthopedics, pediatrics, and acute care/inpatient rehabilitation, with the intent of working in apposition providing both inpatient and outpatient care post-graduation.
Tristin King PT DPT, earned a Bachelor’s of Exercise Science at Utah Tech University in St. George Utah. He graduated with his Doctor of Physical therapy degree in 2023 from St. Ambrose University in Davenport Iowa. He has been working in an outpatient hospital based physical therapy clinic for the past year and just finished an Orthopedic Clinical Specialty residency through St. Ambrose University. Tristin chose the outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting because he feels that this is the point in the rehabilitation continuum where people can get back to an active and meaningful lifestyle. He also enjoys the variety of conditions people are seeking treatment for and the many ways that his skills can be applied to his patients.
Jessa Hansen, PT, DPT is a pediatric physical therapist. She attended UW-Madison for undergrad and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology – Exercise Movement Science in 2020. After taking a gap year working as a caregiver for children with diverse needs and working as an aide at an orthopedic clinic, she attended Marquette University and graduated from their Doctor of Physical Therapy program in May 2024. In PT school, she completed 4 clinical education experiences in settings including acute care, emergency department, outpatient orthopedics, and outpatient pediatrics. Since graduating, she has been working full-time at Curative which is an outpatient pediatric clinic providing PT, OT and Speech therapies! She loves working with kids and their families and is about to begin working PRN as an inpatient PT at Children’s Hospital on the weekends to continue building her skills and experience.
Danny Forman, PT, DPT, began his practice in the Emergency Department at University Hospital (UH) in the summer of 2024. In addition to his primary role in the ED, he provides acute care coverage throughout the hospital. He is originally from Hixton, WI and attended Black River Falls High School. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a degree in Kinesiology, Exercise and Movement Science, along with a certificate in Promoting Activity for Diverse Abilities. He then obtained his DPT from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. His terminal clinical locations were Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua, WI (outpatient), Concentra in Madison, WI (outpatient, occupational health), and Aurora Baycare Medical Center (acute care). Choosing a practice setting was a challenging decision for him, but he ultimately chose the Emergency Department due to the diverse skill set it requires and the fast-paced workflow it offers.
Jeanne Duncan, PT, DPT, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the UW Madison and her Transitional Doctorate in PT from the College of St. Scholastica. She is the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) for the UW Madison DPT Program. In addition to her DCE role, she is an instructor for professional seminar coursework and cardiovascular and pulmonary aspects of physical therapy. Dr. Duncan has presented both regionally and nationally on topics surrounding clinical education and ethics and is a Credentialed Clinical Instructor and a trainer for the APTA Credentialing Clinical Instructor Program. Jeanne is also the co-chair of the APTA Wisconsin Clinical Education Special Interest Group.
