Description

Have you ever found yourself wishing you could be a little more well rounded in areas of therapy you don’t typically see? In academics, we are trained to be a clinician capable of practicing in all areas of treatment. For most of us, as we progress in our career, we develop speciality skills in certain areas, while leaving behind some of the basic concepts we knew in others. And every so often we may see a patient and think “darn it, I wish I remembered this”.

Join us for a lecture reviewing the basics of lymphedema and wounds. Presented by an expert in the field, geared towards the rest of us who just need a good refresh on the basics.

About The Speaker(s)

Margaret McCarty Stanisic, PT, MS, CLT CWS, has been a physical therapist since 1986. She is a specialist in wound and lymphedema management and has been certified in these areas since 2010 and 2002 respectively. She is currently working in the Wound Healing Program at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. She lectures locally and nationally to physicians, nurses, physical and occupational therapists on wound and edema management.
