Speaker Bio:
Sunny Custer is a Chippewa Falls native and began her career in the footwear department at Scheels while attending UW-Eau Claire in the spring of 2002. Upon finishing her studies, she became a women's footwear department manager and also served as a member of the buying team for Scheels corporate. Beginning in her early twenties, she developed a case of plantar fasciosis that often sidelined her from enjoying running, XC skiing and her passion for the outdoors. After 11 years of riding the heel-pain roller coaster, she finally kicked it for good with the wisdom of podiatry and physical therapy. Her own experience with plantar fasciosis and other sports-related injuries is what continues to fuel her empathy and passion for helping customers pick the correct footwear that meets their individual needs.
