Southwest District presents Making Sense of the Evidence for the Clinician: Randomized Controlled Studies
This course is designed for clinicians and students, enabling participants to become better users of the research. Participants will be able to make detailed and informed judgements regarding the validity and the results of randomized control trials and to consider what those results will mean to their practice.
Speaker Bio
Ben Armstrong PT, DPT, OCS
Benjamin Armstrong is a physical therapist at UPH-Meriter in Madison, Wisconsin. He obtained his Doctorate of Physical therapy from Emory University, and Master of Science in Athletic Training from Indiana State University. He completed a residency at UW Hospitals and Clinics and UnityPoint Health Meriter physical therapy orthopedic residency and is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist. He is a certified clinical instructor through the APTA and is a board member, clinical instructor, and clinical mentor at UW Hospitals and Clinics and UnityPoint Health Meriter physical therapy orthopedic residency. He has been involved in the southwest district for the past seven years, most recently serving as Chair. He has also been involved with the ABPTRFE as a site team member for the past two years.
