Description

This dynamic and fun two-hour session will use case-based learning, covering a real-world, outpatient orthopedic case, specifically a patient presenting with shoulder and neck pain that participates in CrossFit consistently. The active learning experience will use peer and team-based learning strategies in an interactive environment. Application of patient-centered and evidence-informed practice will be included with an emphasis on clinical reasoning and meta-cognitive processes. The session is designed to help learners understand how to effectively differentiate neck and shoulder pain as well as how to begin manage this common presentation.
