The relevance of pain education across practice settings and disciplines will be highlighted. Central to the discussion is the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy’s Pain Education Manual. Pain phenotyping and sociological trends in pain are critical to development of an appropriate patient plan of care. The APTA WI Pain SIG’s newly created Pain Toolkit will also be presented and discussed.
