Southeast District CEU & Social: Health Coaching to Optimize Patient Self-Management
Join APTA Wisconsin’s Southeast District at Pilot Project Brewing for an evening of learning, connection, and practical skill-building in a relaxed, social setting.
Health coaching is an evidence-based approach that empowers patients to take an active role in their care—but many physical therapists and physical therapist assistants haven’t had formal training in how to implement it efficiently in practice. This session introduces Brief Action Planning, a rapid health coaching technique designed to fit seamlessly into clinical care in just 5–10 minutes.
You’ll walk away with practical, ready-to-use strategies that can be immediately applied during patient interactions to support behavior change and improve outcomes.
